Dear PHS Families,
The PHS PTO would like to welcome all of you to the 2016-2017 school year!
The Princeton High School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is set up as a bridge between home and school life. We hope that our partnership will pool a wealth of knowledge, talents, and skills to support the education of our children. Your involvement really does make a difference in your child’s education.
We provide a range of spirit and community building activities and events to our students and staff, and provide support for defined needs throughout PHS. The money we raise helps to fund events such as PHS Spirit Week set for the week of October 10th, culminating in Homecoming Weekend set for Friday, October 14th and Saturday, October 15th. We are excited to continue the tradition of Homecoming, and are looking forward to the fun week that has been planned. We are also working on additional events throughout the school year, including a staff appreciation lunch, Senior Awards, programs to help students and families deal with current social pressures, and continued support of past successful spirit and community building activities.
While dues are not required for membership, the PTO solely depends on your voluntary donations. Please remember that any amount is welcome and every dollar makes a tremendous impact.
This year, our suggested donation is $40 per student. If you choose to supply us with your mailing address, every donation, no matter the amount, will receive a newly designed 2016-2017 PHS car magnet. With a $100 donation, you will be instrumental in helping the PTO provide requested support services to fellow PHS students in need. Donations can be made via PayPal through our website or checks can made payable to PHS PTO. Please fill out the information below and either drop off your dues to the Main Office or mail your payment to Princeton High School PTO 151 Moore St, Princeton NJ 08540.
Your donation is tax deductible and is eligible for most Employer Matching Programs. Your contribution will make a big difference in the lives of the students at PHS.
100% participation means everybody wins!
The PTO welcomes you to join our meetings to raise your concerns and contribute your ideas and talents for the betterment of our school. Our meetings are generally held on the first Wednesday of each month at 8:30 am in the PAC (Performing Arts Center). All meeting dates and activities will be posted regularly on the PHS PTO website.
We would like to thank you in advance for your support and generous donation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. May your family have a wonderful school year!
